No crafting so you don't have to spend much time around vendors but you do get all the other goodies - stealth, good melee using The Claw weapon, maxed out psychokinesis and thought control for some nice group control, enough lockpicking, hacking and persuasion to pass every check in the game. You should be using a tactical vest with the psi beetle carapace upgrade. I don't mind if it's frustrating early game or whatever as long as it pays off and psi build seem like the build for me.
There are a lot of builds that go either way but these are just some of the more general ones, but don't be scared to try out others as some of the forum users of Underrail may have already thought of it and got you covered.
