Excellent hotel, but avoid breakfast Review of Sofitel Washington DC Reviewed July 19, 2016 The hotel is located near the White House, 20 minutes walk from the Mall and the Museums, 10 Minutes walk from the Washington Memorial. At the intersection of H Street and 15th Street NW, the hotel is great for business and leisure travelers. The Bar offers classic bites such as Escargot and Deviled Eggs, as well as more satisfying plates like Moules Frites, Croque Monsieur After waiting 10 minutes for the...I am writing to tell you how disappointed I was in the lack of service from this hotel.

The non-existent housekeeping was a major disappointment. The servers treat me like I am the most important person in the room. I assumed everything would be the same staying at a hotel in July but it was not. I expected my room to be a little bigger but the bathroom was nice. We stayed in a big room and felt it had adequate space for each person. When you’re ready to explore the city, we are just two blocks away from the White House and walking distance to local monuments and museums. I love the food, but the service is OUTSTANDING.
