I guess it's a gift. I mean really, it's so stupid and funny, and smart all at the same time. Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust is set at Cheatum Studios where they are filming Tiny Terror's 9, lunch-woman Polly (Michelle Bauer) arrives with a box full of food for the crew including the Gingerdead Man who is in the box for some reason.

But that's exactly what happens when his cremated ashes accidentally fall into a batch of batter and are baked into a gingerbread man. This time around, the Gingerdead Man is set loose in a bad b-movie studio. The acting wasn't believable, the special effects were cheap and the villain was wasted.

Wow!--A MUST SEE! There are some twists and turns that surprise you in the end unlike the typical "saw it coming" movies. Well, it turned out to be WORSE than that. Meanwhile terminally ill Tommy (Joseph Hines) is on a guided tour of the studio who himself is in fact a failed screenwriter & wants revenge for all the bad films Cheatum Studios have made... All that happens is a bunch of people on a movie set that cuss about toilets and a girl that hits on filmmakers and brings in the deadly gingerbread man. Two kids ask if they have any gingerbread cookies, and one of the nurses tells them that an older lady stopped by and dropped some off. Amos recovers, shoots the oven door's lock off, and saves Sarah. Lot's of laughs at the screening I attended. Just from looking at the sequels trailer it seems that the budget went significantly up and that the kills and the cinematography will just be better. Ricardio Gill is great in a brief Phil Fondacaro spoof scene (clue: Phil swears about Band a lot). The Gingerdead Man is a 2006 American horror-comedy film directed by Charles Band. Low-budget horror about a deranged psychopath who returns from the grave in the form of a delicious but deadly treat. Busey plays deranged murderer Millard Findlemeyer, who's sent to the electric chair by brave witness Sara Leigh (Robin Sidney) after he murders her family. The Mutant Killer Snowman returns to kill more people during Christmas I rented this movie because I was looking for something that was a huge mistake.. a movie that never should have been made. Although it's, sadly, Busey-less, Gingerdead Man 2 delivers the goods. Amos and Sarah discover and rescue Julia from the freezer. 10 out of 15 found this helpful. So, armed with my love of cheesy and ‘so-bad-they’re-good’ films, mixed with my enjoyment of the horror genre stories and appreciation for Gary Busey, I figured that the low budget ‘Gingerdead Man’ would be right up my street. Betty loses a finger and is put into the oven, while Julia is knocked out by a frying pan, encased in frosting, decorated, and left in the freezer. They attempt to lock the living cookie in the freezer, and Sarah tries to call the police but the line is dead. Trying to complete their day's work, the cast and crew of a low- budget horror movie finds that the budget and crew problems are the least of their worries when the killer doll appears looking to transfer his soul into a new host and forces them to fight him off. Ever since this title was announced way back, I had been waiting patiently for a chance to watch it, granted the first one was one big pile of drivel, I had always maintained a certain level of hope for an improvement with the follow up. Love the Passion of the Crust! Movie does a great job of poking fun at Full Moon and internet movie critics and movie fan-boys. I basically love any and all movies Full Moon releases, so yea I liked this movie. The entire thing is filmed in dark gray tones that make it next to unwatchable. My favorite part, save the really stupidly funny puppets dancing around in that way only puppets can. Not sure which is the case but here we are the next installment - and it doesn't improve much at all.

But apparently, either there was a small fan base that demanded a sequel or the release of the 60-minute film gained enough money to render a sequel. Directed by Charles Band. Nope Gary Busey isn't in this one, but he isn't missed much as the Gingerbread man is pretty much a background character in this movie, most of the story is on the satire of the happenings of a Full Moon-esquire studio. But this studio has bigger problems, like their film slate and budget.
