Wyrmstooth was one of my favorite quest mods. Use it at your own risk. On 1st May 2017, Archive.org user Jonx0r uploaded the most up to date version of the mod from before cancelling all development on it. This is not the greatest mod ever, but you shouldn't dismiss it like the critics here.

I just wish I had it in me to have been able to make something that they would've been proud to reference as part of their portfolio. Couple of weird fruit cakes leaving strange reviews and some are just outright nasty. I would appreciate if someone friended me and gave me a download link to it, because I need it for a full Legacy of the Dragonborn collection. Hope it works! Wyrmstooth is one of the best DLC sized new lands mods out there.

On 13th May 2016, ten days after the deletion of the mod, the mod author announced through a Reddit discussion topic that there were personal reasons for deleting the modification and obliterating his online presence. I love the story, when you first started it, it creates tension, and that tension keeps you playing, ignore all the people blaming it for stability issues, i have 0, so its something in their game. Note: If you have a previous version of Wyrmstooth installed, finish the quest "Barrow of the Wyrm" first before upgrading to 1.18. Just in case it is causing issues I've put a warning in the description. Notwithstanding the previous reviewer's claim that the port went "flawlessly", I have heard that there are graphical bugs, particularly having to do with water flow in SE.

Wyrmstooth, sometimes referred to as The Elder Scrolls V: Wyrmstooth, was a DLC-sized expansion of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and eventually The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, that took place on the island of Wyrmstooth. Sadly it turned out to be pretty boring.

The Legacy team has added patch support for the mod in version 5 of Legacy.

I'm even writing Skyrim fanfic with Wyrmstooth in it! First and foremost though I have to thank and apologize profusely to the people who lent their vocal and musical talent to Wyrmstooth. Mainly one called Wyrmstooth.esp, and Notice board.esp. Admittedly, the dragon hunting was a bit same-y, but the characters and location more than made up for it.

I played Wyrmstooth on Skyrim LE and loved it; it was stable and a lot of fun.

That first run across the island, as well as hunting down marauders, were a big highlight for me. "This guy probably got paid to give a good review!"

I converted Wyrmstooth to SE myself, but have not yet played it. Haven't been able to get water flow working yet though. Downside is I'm missing two folders. The post was later deleted for an unspecified reason.It should be noted that the identity of the mod author was Ok so against my better judgement I've decided to write up a short explanation about why I canned Wyrmstooth and my comics. People told me this was one of the best mods for Skyrim so I was pretty eager to give it a go. I honestly wanted to throw my 2 cents in here because I feel like this mod gets a bad reputation, which I believe, is due to it's age.

I've downloaded the archive both "9 Files" or "8 Original" or "SHOW ALL" and clicking on the "Wyrmstooth 1.18 SS On 3rd May 2016, the modification was deleted from all known mod hosting sites without any warning provided. It was created by Jonx0r and featured an entirely new main questline, side quests, new npcs and much more.

Ok, so I know what you might be thinking. @sbelmont85 I'd recommend trying Vigilant, Forgotten City, Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, Glenmoril, Project AHO, or Midwood Isle instead.

He has stated that users are free to share the mod in private with others, but they will not receive any support from the mod author. If you want to know why this based retard deleted all his mods here's what he posted on reddit: There are numerous reports suggesting that this mod is unstable and may lead to save file corruption. It is an awesome mod!
