Wednesday, August 12, 2020 Ancestry and Arolsen Archives have partnered to digitize Holocaust records from the Arolsen Archives that will always be free to search at Ancestry.com. In July, the popular Ancestry company announced a partnership with the Arolsen Archives, an International Center on Nazi Persecution, to create the Holocaust Remembrance Collection on “People across the world will now be able to digitally search two collections of records to learn more about their heritage and family history post-Holocaust,” a spokesperson from Ancestry says.

Their collection has information on about 17.5 million people and belongs to the UNESCO's Memory of the World.
