I thought season 1-3 were fantastic but season 4 was too short, not meaty enough, if this show could be considered meaty... it's more... fluffy.

These are all huge improvements and if it remains this way, it will finally break Hallmark out of its recent original series slump. Even though the show, shows different aspects of day to day life struggles but at the end everything gets back to normal and that is one of the best part of the show that even though it has some saddening moments it still manages to bring back the Vibe which can only be felt. I find the story line very interesting & a delightful family story. The pilot showed promise as the pacing was good, writing was engaging, characters were well formed and there was conflict! Such a daggone good show but the entire premise of it being on the Chesapeake is unrealistic. The songs are boring nothing compared to the Nashville-Series! These changes help the family come together and enjoy each others company and help each other out in their times of need. Book-based drama series offers feel-good content.
